This has been my biggest concern with Live by far since day 1. And even then, they still wouldn't be as generous as one of the stingiest digital card games. They didn't need to increase the rewards by 50%, they need to increase the rewards by 500%. The quests in Pokemon Live are totally unacceptable. Whether you live in the Winslow, ME area or you're just passing through, you're always welcome to join us and try our specials. Magic Arena is 4 to 4.5 times as generous as Pokemon Live. To keep things fresh, The Two Cent Pub has rotating food specials to help you save money and try something new every time you visit. The rewards diminish from there, but if you get 15 wins, you get a total of 150 crystals and 6 random uncommon cards that have a very small chance of being upgraded to a random card of a higher rarity.Įssentially, Magic Arena, one of the greediest digital card games, gives you approximately 235 crystals every day for completing your quest and getting 4 wins, and 275 crystals every day for completing your quest and getting 15 wins. This amounts to 110 crystals per day for your first four wins. You also get 50 crystals for your first win, and 20 crystals each for your second, third, and fourth wins every day. ![]() Essentially, the average number of crystals per day due to quests would be 125. You also get to reroll once per day, and if you reroll the 100 crystals quests, you have another approximate 3/4 chance of getting a 100 crystals quest and 1/4 chance of getting a 150 crystals quest. The daily quests you get in Magic Arena have approximately 3/4 chance of giving you 100 crystals and 1/4 chance of giving you 150 crystals. Since packs Magic Arena cost 1000 gold, I will translate by using a 5 to 1 gold to crystals ratio. Here's some perspective: Magic Arena is one of the most predatory and greedy digital card games. Just up the Mission rewards a bit, keep the Exp as it is. Ironically, you can buy Coins with your Crystals. I won't be suggesting that they change coins for other reward atm because in the future they could implement better cosmetics, but right now there's nothing to use the coins. The coins on the other hand are just fodder, and right now have very little use. The feeling of achieving something is quite good. I think bumping them to 100 or even 120 a day would not significantly change how much Live loses per player, and would instead incentivize or reward players. meager, to give so little Crystals every day. It also promoted getting codes and using them. I understand the game is leaning more towards getting Credits and crafting the decks. You can buy around 20 packs with that amount, and 1180 credits along with those packs from the shop. ![]() However, I do feel that the Crystals and Coins are lackluster.Įvery 9 weeks, which is a Battle Pass lifespan, you fall short of 4000 Crystals. I have mentioned before that Passes tend to be designed so any player gets around 1 level per day and given how you get some variable experience per match, this lines up. I actually believe that the Experience amount on mission rewards is adequate. ![]()
